This is dependant on my opponent and the locale.
If I'm at home it takes longer as we're more relaxed, get food, get distracted etc.
At the store I'm faster as I'm there to game - save teh chit-chat for after so someone else can use the table.

I prefer to play fast, even if it means we get some rules wrong (I generally err on the side that gives me the least advantage if it's a grey area in my rules), simply as I hate people hemming and hawing - I make up my mind and do it.

Probably why I like Space Hulk so much ;)Gotthammerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09192437339888042580noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6774997766356173689.post-67460732522697375802010-05-19T10:30:50.088-07:002010-05-19T10:30:50.088-07:00*that should say 'bust out'

We have been gaming for years, and have become very efficient at time management.Big Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10363832056474538807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6774997766356173689.post-72133230092075155092010-05-19T10:28:54.046-07:002010-05-19T10:28:54.046-07:00Snake-Eyes and I have also decided to branch out i...Snake-Eyes and I have also decided to branch out into board games. Due to time constraints and to the fact that we both have large portions of our army broken down for painting or that need to be re-assembled.

As for your point on time, often when playing friendly games we lose track of time and are not in that big of a rush. However, during tournaments with timed rounds things become a little more hectic. I have found that if you are going to play in tournaments, it is good to get into the habit of making swift tactical decisions - don't rush, but remember that time is of the essence and plan accordingly.Grizzled Gorillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16715567863938779627noreply@blogger.com
